Sophie Scholl and the White Rose

Sophie Scholl and the White Rose - Annette Dumbach, Jud Newborn My main criticism of this book is the title: it's a bit misleading. I've read other books on the White Rose, and I thought this was more focused on Sophie's life. I read this a year ago, and if I remember correctly it does focus on her more than the other members of the White Rose, but its focus is still the resistance.
That said, it is an immensely interesting, terrifying and inspiring account of some tremendously brave people. I also recommend the movie The Last Days of Sophie Scholl -- it adds incredible dimension to the reading of this book.
