Aimée & Jaguar: A Love Story, Berlin 1943

Aimée & Jaguar: A Love Story, Berlin 1943 - Erica Fischer, Edna McCown I wanted to like this book more than I did because, well, lesbianism and WW II - two topics I seem unable to get enough of. Maybe it's the translation. I read this almost ten years ago and the overall impression is one of a slow-moving story with not nearly the depth I appreciate in a good story, true of fiction.
