Prophecy of the Sisters (Prophecy of the Sisters Trilogy, Book I)

Prophecy of the Sisters - Michelle Zink Confession: I could not even finish this book. It reminds me vaguely of Libba Bray's "A Great and Terrible Beauty" but was much more annoying. The author seems to be trying very hard to convey a time and place and she succeeds mildly, but the characters are so bland and the plot seems so boring that I finally felt I couldn't waste any more time on this one.
